2020 Club Championship Show and Limited Obedience Show

Not quite what we hoped to deliver in our Special Golden Jubilee year but the club is extremely pleased to be staging the above events over two separate week-ends in September 2021.

We hope lots of Bernese and their owners will feel able to join us and anyone is welcome to join us on any of the days with or without a Bernese, or any other well behaved breed.

There is no admission fee to attend any of the events and club members and non members are welcome to just turn up on the day. However, entering your dog in the Open or Championship shows must be done in advance and camping, evening event attendance along with SH blood testing, Good Citizens and Character Assessment must all be booked in advance. More details via the links below.

Please do not bring bitches in season to any event and please remember that, under KC rules, all dogs within the precincts of our shows must either be entered in a class in the show or as ‘Not for Competition’ (NFC) in which case they will be listed in the catalogue. Alternatively, on show day itself visiting dogs who are not already entered can be registered with the secretary for a small fee as a ‘Visitor Dog’.

Please note the following points as they include some essential changes to our normal event practises allowing events to be planned during the ongoing COVID situation. Even as things relax nationally we may still have to enforce some or all of these conditions due to KC or local regulations. Please keep checking this web site and the club’s Social media for any updates and ensure you have read the club’s COVID policy prior to attending any of these events and follow any guidance given on the day.

Our regulars may wish to note: These events will all take place at Priors Marston Sports and Social Club which is NOT THE USUAL LOCATION for the Champ Show nor the Open Show.

Full address: Byfield Road, Priors Marston, Warwickshire CV47 7RP

Directions to the venue

At both weekends don’t forget to visit Helen and the team in the Berner Shop for lots of brilliant Bernese goodies, including the special new Golden Jubilee clothing and merchandise. A limited stock of jubilee clothing will be available to view and the full range will be available to order.

SH Testing

We are pleased to again offer reduced fee ‘Histio’ testing at the Championship show and Garden Party week-end. This MUST be booked in advance. For details click here.
