Accompanied by a definite air of ‘ the morning after the day before’ for those who had survived the previous day’s deluge, the Garden Party completed its preparations in lovely early sunshine which stayed with us, on and off, all day, in massive contrast to the previous day. The rain stayed way all day right through to the packing away hours in the evening.

The day opened with a carting parade with many in full Swiss dress as the carting parade here always morphs into the first class of the day, the Swiss decorated cart class.

Many reports, results, thank yous and photos will appear here in the coming weeks but here are a few random photos to whet your appetite.

xx
