The BMDC of GB is very sad to hear the news of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II and joins the country, and the world, in mourning her loss.

We repeat the KC’s announcement on the subject here.

To avoid any confusion or speculation, the death of her Majesty and subsequent events, including her funeral on 19th September, will not directly affect our forthcoming Golden Jubilee events.

UPDATE: An extremely well observed and emotional minute’s silence,  followed by the National Anthem, was held at our Golden Jubilee event. Thank you to all those present.
