The Royal Kennel Club is seeking opinions from anyone who has bred any dogs in the last 10 years. If this is you, please see the below contact the club has received and use the link within it to respond to the survey.

Dear Secretary,

We’re asking breeders across the UK to take part in our Breeder Insights & Experience Survey, and we would really value input from you and/or others in your community that are involved in breeding.

Good breeders play a vital role in the future health and wellbeing of dogs. We want to better understand the experiences, challenges and motivations of today’s breeders so we can improve the support, resources and guidance that we provide.

We know breeding can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging. Through this survey, we want to learn how we can better support responsible breeding, making the experience more positive and straightforward for breeders now and in the future.

If you have bred a litter of puppies within the last 10 years, including non-Royal Kennel Club registered dogs or crossbreeds, we would love to hear from you. The survey takes just 5–10 minutes to complete, and all responses will remain confidential and be presented anonymously.
