The BVA have now much improved the timeliness of their service and the latest turnaround time we heard of, (March 2023), was just 48 hours and it is hoped this will become a more typical UK scheme response time.

5] FOR THOSE NOW USING THE ANKC SCHEME ONLY. While using the same scheme and scoring system, the key difference in process is that submissions to the UK scheme are assessed by a panel whereas the ANKC scheme uses just one assessor to grade the radiographs. Without casting any dispersions on the capability of the ANKC assessors, this would be said by most to give a higher chance of errors and inconsistency. How concerned are you by this and which of the following applies to your opinion on this aspect?
